• Driver-assist camera. GM’s January 2023 position statement requires a service-point calibration whenever a windshield with a front view camera is removed, reinstalled or replaced; on a Volt that means the Chevy Safety Assist camera is reset after the new glass is bonded in.
• Body style. Different body styles use different glass: in the recent quotes, 4 Door Sedan versions were quoted $360–$373 and 4 Door Hatchback versions $269–$287.
• Model year. In our data the 2011–2013 Volt models average $311 while 2017–2019 cars average $441.
