What changes the price for a Honda Civic
- Honda Sensing camera (2019 and newer). Honda made Honda Sensing standard on every 2019 Civic sedan and coupe trim, LX through Touring. The forward camera mounts to the windshield, and Honda’s position is that it must be recalibrated after a windshield replacement, so expect a calibration line item on 2019+ cars.
- Rain-sensing wipers (Touring). Civic Touring sedans from 2018 through 2022 have rain-sensing wipers, which use a sensor bonded to the glass; the replacement windshield has to carry the matching sensor mount.
- Coupe vs. sedan glass. The two body styles use different windshields. In the recent quotes above, 2006 and 2014 coupes were quoted $409–$416 while 2016–2020 sedans were quoted $205–$232.
