Dodge Durango Windshield Replacement Cost
The Dodge Durango made its debut in the late 1990s and has since become a staple in the SUV market. Initially, it was introduced as a mid-size SUV, evolving over the years in terms of size, features, and technology. Known for its robust performance and versatility, the Durango also broke ground with its distinctive blend of truck-like capabilities and comfortable, car-like ride. Over the years, there have been significant design updates, notably in 2011 when the Durango transitioned to a unibody frame, marking a new generation with enhanced driving dynamics.
When considering the windshield replacement cost for a Dodge Durango, several factors come into play. A prominent factor is the presence of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), such as lane departure warnings or adaptive cruise control, which rely on sensors and cameras often mounted on the windshield. The integration and calibration of these ADAS features can significantly impact the cost of a replacement, especially in recent models equipped with sophisticated technology.
Another crucial consideration is the trim level of the Durango. Higher trim levels typically come with more features, including heated windshields or acoustic glass, which can further raise replacement costs due to the complexity or rarity of these glass types. For example, the Citadel and R/T trims are known for incorporating such advanced features.
Availability of aftermarket parts also influences pricing. Older models, particularly those before major redesigns such as in 211 or more recent updates like the 218 facelift, may have a wider selection of aftermarket windshields, which can offer more cost-effective options compared to OEM parts. On the other hand, newer models with specific OEM glass requirements for ADAS functionality may have limited aftermarket offerings, thereby increasing potential expenses.
Windshield replacement costs are further affected by model year changes. Each redesign or update can introduce new components or technologies that alter the replacement process and materials. For instance, the 214 model year brought forward extensive changes including the addition of more advanced technology packages, each potentially impacting the complexity and cost of windshield replacement.
Ultimately, understanding these factors is crucial for anyone looking to manage the windshield replacement cost of their Dodge Durango effectively, be it through OEM components or exploring suitable aftermarket alternatives.

Dodge Durango Average Windshield Replacement Cost By Year
Not all windshields are built—or priced—the same. The cost to replace the glass on a Dodge Durango depends on its year, trim level, and the amount of technology integrated into the windshield itself. Our average pricing reflects real-world replacement data across thousands of vehicles, then adjusts for the specific features found on your Dodge Durango. Here’s how the range breaks down:
High-End Range
Some Dodge Durango configurations—especially newer or premium trims—come equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) such as lane-keeping cameras, rain sensors, heated glass, or heads-up displays.
These require OEM-grade glass and a full ADAS recalibration after installation. Because of the precision equipment and labor involved, these versions land at the top end of the price range.
Mid-Range
Many modern Dodge Durango vehicles include a few key sensors, like forward-collision or lane-departure cameras, but don’t need OEM glass. These jobs involve some recalibration and additional setup beyond a simple install, which places them in the middle of the pricing spectrum.
Low-End Range
Base trims or older Dodge Durango versions usually feature plain laminated glass with no built-in electronics. These are the most straightforward to replace, requiring no recalibration or specialty parts, and therefore fall in the lowest cost tier.

Fast service, they got to me same day. The repairman was courteous and professional. Price was cheapest around for service that could cost much more.

I was a little disappointed, I had a scheduled appointment at 3pm and the window was not delivered until closer to 4p. When the glass arrived it was broken, my window was not repaired until over two hours after my appt. I will say once the glass arrived it was repaired quickly. To prevent this in the future, a client should be called to confirm appointment and informed of the status of the glass window they ordered. (Delivered or not)
