Hyundai Grand i10 Windshield Replacement Cost
The Hyundai Grand i10, a versatile hatchback, made its debut in 2007 as a successor to the popular Getz model, quickly becoming a favorite for its efficiency and compact design. Introduced to various global markets, the Grand i10 has seen several iterations, with each model featuring technological advancements and design improvements. Notably, the integration of the sporty i10 N Line in Europe highlighted Hyundai’s commitment to offering diverse options within the range.
When considering the cost of windshield replacement for the Hyundai Grand i10, several factors come into play. Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) features are a significant determinant, as models equipped with lane departure warnings, automatic emergency braking, or other sensors may demand specialized windshields. These features often necessitate precise calibration post-replacement, impacting overall costs.
Trim levels also influence the price. Higher trims commonly featuring additional technological integrations or unique windshield designs generally lead to a higher replacement price. The availability of aftermarket parts is another crucial factor; models with a robust aftermarket presence might offer more cost-effective solutions compared to OEM parts which are often more expensive.
Historically, model year changes have substantial impacts on windshield replacement costs. For example, major redesigns in recent years, such as those seen in the 2020 update, typically introduce new technologies and design nuances that can affect replacement complexity and thus pricing.
Availability and local demand for Grand i10 replacements can influence cost variability. Regions with limited access to specific parts may experience higher prices due to import needs or scarcity. Understanding these aspects is critical for estimating windshield replacement costs efficiently for the Hyundai Grand i10.

Hyundai Grand i10 Windshield Replacement Cost By Year
Not all windshields are created equal, so it makes sense that not all replacements cost the same. Depending on the vehicle and the technology built into the glass, replacement prices can vary significantly. Here’s how we break it down:
High-End Range
Some vehicles—especially newer or luxury models—are equipped with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), like lane-keeping cameras, rain sensors, heads-up displays, and built-in heating elements. These features require original equipment manufacturer (OEM) glass and a complete ADAS recalibration after installation. Because of the specialized parts and labor involved, these replacements fall at the top end of the price range.
Mid-Range
Many modern cars come with a few standard features—such as forward collision sensors or lane departure cameras—that require basic recalibration after the windshield is replaced. These windshields typically don’t require OEM glass but do involve some extra steps beyond a simple install, which puts them in the moderate price range.
Low-End Range
Older vehicles or base models often have a simpler setup: plain laminated glass without any built-in electronics or sensors. These windshields are the most straightforward to replace, and therefore, fall into the lowest price tier.

All in all, I'm very happy with my experience with The Auto Glass Guy. After comparing prices from other places, I feel like I got the best deal here. I had a broken driver-side window and a damaged windshield. I had just the driver-side window replaced. The technician made some very good suggestions in regard to a "bandaid solution" for the windshield until I could get it replaced. Since I have a high deductible for my comprehensive insurance, I wanted to pay out of pocket and avoid filing a claim. I gladly recommend The Auto Glass Guy to anyone who needs a new car window or windshield.
